COLOMBIA – The furniture brand, Jamar, has chosen Bogota to open the largest furniture and mattress store in the country.

With an investment of approximately COP 5,000 million (USD 1,1 million), the company, originally from Barranquilla, is about to open its main store of more than 3,500 square meters, in the El Edén Shopping Center, in the west of Bogota. 

Jamar, joined the commitment of this important shopping center, to create the first cluster of home improvement in the capital, and therefore will present in its new store, the 10 new collections of living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, accessories and mattresses that have just been launched at ExpoJamar 2023, the most important furniture fair in Colombia.

With this opening, Jamar continues its expansion plan in regions other than the coast, where 60% of its stores are located, while the remaining 40% are located in other cities.

Jamar has 23 stores nationwide and 7 in Panama and is the number one furniture and mattress company in Colombia with a turnover of COP 406 billion (USD 86 million) in 2021.
