COLOMBIA (Notifix).- Pegatex, the leading local company in Colombia’s adhesives segment, is now a part of Empresas Artecola of Brazil. The deal resulted in the creation of Pegatex Artecola S.A., with 55% of its capital under control of the Brazilian company.

Under the new structure the operations of Artecola Química in the Andes Region, that include manufacturing facilities Peru and Colombia, are now part of the Pegatex Artecola S.A.

The new operation will contribute in leveraging the net revenue of Empresas Artecola in 2013, estimated in R$ 650 million, a 31% increase over 2012 (R$ 496 millions). “This policy of strong growth has been providing several benefits to our clients, as they can rely on a wide offer of services, along with knowhow in different sectors, and constant investments in research, development and innovation”, emphasizes Eduardo Kunst, Artecola CEO.
