GERMANY – Under the motto “Where sawdust flies and inspiration lands,” Homag Treff 2024 attracted over 2,000 visitors from more than 30 countries.
After a six-year hiatus, the renowned in-house exhibition took place simultaneously at two southern German locations—Schopfloch and Holzbronn—between September 24 and 27, 2024. Attendees witnessed the latest trends and developments in the wood industry firsthand.
The exhibition showcased individual machines and complete production lines, featuring live demonstrations on edge banding, soft forming, nesting, and robot panel dividing saws. The event also included informative presentations on the integration of software and machines for a more efficient workday, along with factory tours that offered a behind-the-scenes look at Homag.
Automation and digitization were major themes, with a dedicated exhibition area for Homag software, apps, and digital services at the Schopfloch site. Experts from Schuler Consulting were available to discuss automation potential in furniture and timber construction, focusing on optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and enhancing digitalization.
For the first time, a variety of trade exhibitors and partner companies, including Benz Tooling, DÜRR AG, and tapio, participated in the event. Homag Treff 2024 delivered valuable insights and numerous innovations, covering everything from panel dividing and CNC machining to software, automation, and digitalization.
