GERMANY – Effective immediately, IMA Schelling is taking over the specialist companies Carmet Automazioni and Blumenbecker Engineering System Technology, enabling it to offer its customers an even broader range of automation, handling and transport solutions.
Carmet Automazioni, from Treviso in northern Italy, has been designing, manufacturing and distributing technologies for industrial automation and handling for over 50 years. The company will continue to operate under its established name and Carmet will also continue as a brand name.
Blumenbecker Engineering System Technology, based in Katowice, is firmly established as a leading expert in automation and robotics solutions in Poland, with a remarkable record of product innovation and customer satisfaction. Blumenbecker Engineering System Technology with its approximately 60 employees will remain an independent company and will operate under the name IMA Schelling Polska Automation in the future.
The IMA Schelling Group develops, designs and produces machines and systems for wood, plastic and metal processing companies. IMA Schelling has a global network of 16 subsidiaries and 70 sales partners and operates four production sites in Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia. In 2021, the plant engineering company generated total sales of more than €300 million with 1,750 employees worldwide.
