GERMANY – On October 1st Wolfgang Moyses took over as Chairman of the Management Board of Surteco Group SE.

Mr. Moyses has succeeded Dr. Herbert Müller, who has held management responsibility since 2001 as a Board Member and since 2015 as CEO. Previously, Mr. Moyses was a Board Member of Simona AG for almost 20 years and since 2003 he has been Chairman of its Management Board.

The Management Board of Surteco Group SE now comprises Mr. Wolfgang Moyses, CEO, and Mr. Andreas Riedl, CFO. “I am greatly looking forward to carrying out my responsible role. Together with the employees and managers in the global workforce, I intend to continue the success story of Surteco for the benefit of the company, and associated with this, all the stakeholders,” commented Wolfgang Moyses, Chairman of the Management Board of Surteco Group SE.

With more than 3,300 employees at 23 production sites worldwide, the Group generated annual sales of around EUR 700 million in 2018. 24 % of these sales were generated in Germany, 47 % in European countries outside Germany and a further 29 % in America, Asia and Australia. Customers of the Surteco Group primarily come from the wood-based, flooring and furniture industries, as well as from interior design.
