U.S. – Michigan Haworth Inc announced 2013 global sales of USD 1.41 billion, an increase of 7.3% from 2012.

In the US, more than 30 product launches, strategic partnerships, and consolidation of new lines, allowed the office furniture manufacturer to experience market share growth in all segments. While Europe remains a challenging market, Haworth achieved solid sales in Asia Pacific, with the expectations for the future focused on India, where the company will open a new plant this year.

Haworth is a privately held company, founded in 1948 by Gerrard Wendell (G.W.) Haworth, who was succeeded at the helm by his son Dick, who in turn stepped down as his son Matthew became chairman of the company.
