POLAND – The board of directors of the polish furniture manufacturer Forte SA made the decision to restructure the workforce to align with the current demand situation, which entails a reduction of approximately 10% in the workforce. The company will initiate discussions with labor unions to facilitate this process.
The next phase involves aligning the employment structure with the current situation and the company’s objectives. Maria Florczuk, the CEO of the Forte Group, emphasizes, “Our objective is to ensure Forte’s long-term sustainability. We remain committed to introducing technical and technological innovations and developing attractive new product lines. All our initiatives are aimed at preserving competitiveness and providing our customers with high-quality and competitive products and services.”
Fabryki Mebli Forte is one of the main global manufacturers of RTA furniture, it operates four modern production facilities in Poland, including its particleboard factory. The company distributes its products in over 40 countries globally, with more than 85% of its total production destined for international markets. In 2022, the group achieved a turnover of EUR 285.7 million.
