ARGENTINA - Egger, the manufacturer of wood-based products for the furniture industry, interior design, construction and flooring was the main sponsor of Fitecma, held at the Costa Salguero Center in Buenos Aires from July 2 to 6.

This was also the opportunity to present its portfolio in a 300m2 stand built entirely with materials from the different Egger product lines.

The stand invited to visit the different product categories and had spaces of inspiration where the applied product was exhibited, showing the versatility of uses and combinations of the designs. “From Egger we are proud to be part of exhibitions and fairs of the sector around the world, such as Fitecma, since they allow us to generate an international trend. We seek to support the industry professionals by making available our wide variety of products and designs so that they can materialize their projects and be distinguished in different environments. We believe that permanent contact with them is very important, because working together is the ideal way to keep growing and innovating at the same time,” said Francisco Estruga, Marketing Manager for Latin America at Egger.

Special attention was given to the Feelwood collection, consisting of boards and edges with innovative synchronized pore technology in its finish that gives it the texture and real appearance of wood. The Egger Feelwood collection with permanent local stock consists of 4 designs: Halifax Natural Oak, Oak Halifax Tobacco, Brown Larch and White Larch. The Feelwood line is complemented by crosscut edges, to provide greater realism to the finish.

Another highlight was the PerfectSense line comprised by lacquered premium MDF boards, available in two types of finishes: Gloss and Matt and resistant to micro-scratching and heat. Matt designs have anti-fingerprint properties and the Gloss designs provide greater depth to environments. The locally available designs are Gray Macadam, Black and Alpine White.

The Eurodekor designs were responsible for representing the Egger’s local production from its plant in Concordia, Entre Ríos. With a wide variety of designs and textures (unicolors, wood, stone, textiles) available in MDF and particleboard, it has a corresponding line of PVC and melamine edges. Local production also guarantees permanent stock and fast delivery.

The different lines of wood-based floors also had a leading space where visitors could try the installation. The Egger PRO collection consists of three types of floors, totaling 31 designs with permanent stock in Argentina. Egger is the only manufacturer of this type of flooring with local presence, ensuring the continuity of products and designs. The different lines offer a solution for each environment or need, being able to use the same design in the 3 floor categories.
