GERMANY – Hettich’s FurnSpin turn-and-swivel fitting has won the “Good Design Award 2024” from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP).  

This is the seventh time Hettich has received this award since 2014.

The “Good Design Award” is Japan’s premier evaluation system for product design, recognized globally for outstanding quality.

This year, the jury commended FurnSpin for its innovative rotating and pivoting mechanism, which revolutionizes storage solutions in furniture.

Unlike traditional cabinets with sliding or hinged doors, FurnSpin eliminates design constraints, allowing easy access to the cabinet’s contents with a simple twist.

This design ensures that even lightweight items stay securely in place, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
