GERMANY – The German Design Council has awarded the German Design Award – Special Mention 2016 to Hettich for the InLine S sliding door system and the InnoTech Atira drawer system.
The German Design Award is awarded to outstanding products that are groundbreaking in the German and international design landscape.
The competition is the international premium prize awarded by the Design Council. Its aim: to discover, present and reward unique design trends. Each year, prizes in the categories product and communication design are awarded to entries that are outstanding in their design quality. The InLine S sliding door system was awarded the German Design Award – Special Mention 2016 in the category “Furniture”, and the InnoTech Atira drawer system received the same award in the category “Kitchen”.
InLine S is a flush fitted sliding door system for the premium segment and has already been awarded the Good Design Award 2015. It is suitable for universal applications in the areas of office, kitchen and living room furniture. InLine S creates new freedoms in furniture design because handleless doors can be opened at the outer edge, in both the wall unit and the base unit.
The InnoTech Atira drawer system won the jury over with its fullness of character: straight lines, clean contours, different colors and a variety of additional elements complemented by versatile interior organization solutions form the perfect mix for greater individuality.
