Cotopaxi launches its new 2017 Designs

ECUADOR – Ecuadorian board manufacturer Aglomerados Cotopaxi launched its new 2017 Designs: Portobelo, Cinnamon and Truffle. The three designs presented to the market were inspired by a gastronomic concept that seeks a sensorial and organoleptic connection.

“Cotopaxi believes that these three designs will mark a market trend during this year, since from the selection process to the incubation of the ideas and concepts necessary to make them come true, we relied on the main opinion leaders and designers of the Latin American market; understanding that fashion is the engine that drives companies to always be one step ahead of the market,” said Luis Esteban Jara, the Cotopaxi’s Marketing & Export Manager.

Portobelo: A design that stands out for its versatility and avant-garde, which resembles metal, concrete and wood. Resulting in a versatile design that provides the perfect balance to design environments.

Cinnamon: An extroverted and unique design, that brings total freedom at the moment of creation with strong and innovative tonalities, that let the imagination fly and dares to inspire evoking the wilder side.

Truffle: A timeless and elegant design, capable of attracting the most irreverent tastes as well as the most classic and refined.

The launch took place in Quito on March 22 and 23 and had around 70 guests, among them the main furniture manufacturers, builders, designers, architects and industry leaders in the country. With these launches the portfolio of Cotopaxi designs is now made up of 25 melamines, all available in particleboard or MDF and also in RH or resistant to humidity.
