CHILE – Homecenter Sodimac, home improvement chain of the Falabella Group opened new stores in Chile and Colombia, with which the Group completed 245 stores in the region.

On April 23rd Sodimac Coronel opened its doors. Located in the region of Bio-Bio, Chile, it has a sales area of 9,300 m2. This was the 86th home improvement store of the Falabella Group in Chile and became the 244th the region. Already in early April, the Group had also opened a new home improvement store under the Imperial banner in Puerto Montt, Chile.

A few days later, on April 30, took place the inauguration of Sodimac Homecenter Girardot in Cundinamarca, Colombia. The store, which includes the Homecenter and Constructor formats, has 6000 m2 showroom (Homecenter 4,500 m2 and 1,500 m2 Constructor). With this opening 35 stores were completed in Colombia.

The Sodimac Homecenter format of the Falabella Group is present in Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Peru and since early this year also Uruguay. Besides the Homecenter and Constructor formats, in the home improvement segment the Group also operates the Dicico banner in Brazil, Maestro in Peru and Imperial and Homy banners in Chile.
