BRAZIL – Schattdecor Brazil announced the startup of its new impregnation line. This new investment will provide Schattdecor a 150% increase in production capacity at its impregnation unit in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, PR. 

The company explained the new line’s scope “This is the equipment with the greatest width in South America provides several technological innovations and capability to serve the entire American market. With a 55% increase in productivity compared to conventional machines, and able to impregnate decorative print and unicolors, it is also capable of producing “overlay” abrasive, using the ARP (Abrasive Resistance Paper) technology, mainly used in the manufacture of laminate flooring. Apart from making this technology available to market, this new line makes it possible to monitor and control the process more precisely.”

Schattdecor is working worldwide in the field of energy efficiency and under that premise this impregnating line incorporates the latest technology available. It was designed to reuse the heat required for the process, reducing the consumption of natural gas and therefore atmospheric emissions. Additionally all electric motors are high efficiency, optimizing energy use.
