EUROPA (Notifix).- With the progressive adoption laser edgebanding technology by important and recognized furniture manufacturers in Europe and North America, this new banding technology has begun to enhance quality requirements in terms of aesthetics and quality of end product in different market segments of the furniture market.

 So far office furniture manufacturers have been the fastest adopters of laser technology. Among others, early European adopters of laser technology include Palmberg, Sedus, Februe and Ahrend in the office segment, and Veriset and Trade Mouldings in the kitchen segment. While in North America, Steelcase, Premiere Eurocase y Stijle are among the most noticeable early adopters. There are various suppliers of this technology, but most manufacturers have chosen either Homag or IMA.
