COLOMBIA – Pizano SA, a Colombian manufacturer of panels, contract and ready to assemble furniture, launched Madecor High Abrasion, a new board in which the melamine decorative laminated is thermo fused to the particle board, which besides offering greater resistance to abrasion, offers increased resistance to temperature and humidity.

Madecor High Abrasion is aimed at high-traffic applications where the surface requires high performance features, such as office furniture, educational furniture or commercial furniture.

Also, and in order to keep up with new trends, Pizano launched the new Open Pore texture for their melamine boards. This new texture complements the portfolio of Pizano textures, such as Arena and Natural Collection, which enjoy good market acceptance. Open Pore meets the need of a texture with natural wood characteristics in its knots and grains, in the visual and the tactile, in the color and structure.
