GERMANY – Pfleiderer Group has launched a new lacquer line at its Leutkirch plant in Germany. The project amounted to EUR 12 million and will allow the Pfleiderer Group to increase its production capacity and its sales.
“Our goal is to increase the Group’s sales to the level of 1,200 million euros in 2021. We can achieve this thanks to initiatives aimed at increasing production capacity in relation to high-margin products, such as the new lacquering line,” said Tom K. Schäbinger, CEO Pfleiderer Group.
The new production line allows to use the HotCoating system for production of high-margin Pfleiderer products. The technology is an uncontested market leader and the new 165 m long lacquering line is currently the biggest lacquering line using the HotCoating system in the world.
The Pfleiderer Group is one of the leading European producers of fiber-based products, specialized in the production of materials for the furniture industry, the interior and construction industry.
