SPAIN (Notifix).- Peru’s Martin Representations Group was the winner of the public auction for the acquisition of the board manufacturer Tablicia, located in Nadela, Spain.

With its bid for 2.5 million euros, Martin acquired the particleboard facility that had stopped activities since April 2012 and had entered bankruptcy in October of that year. This is the second attempt of Martin Representations to acquire Tablicia Group’s assets, in June this year it lost to Kronospan the bid for the Interpanel plant in Benavente, also part of the Tablicia Group.

The property transfer is expected to become official in October, when the deadline for payment by Representations Martin is due. The new owners announced that they intend to modernize the facility to convert the Nadela factory into a “leading company in the industry.”
