ECUADOR – Ecuador’s board manufacturer Novopan is expanding its MDP production capacity to 270,000 m3/year. The expansion is part of the Company’s USD 15 million investment plan scheduled for completion by the end of this year.

This manufacturer, characterized by constant innovation, thus strengthens its frontline position in the market.

Investments in the MDP line include extending the forming section of their Dieffenbacher continuous press, the installation of a second Recalor drying drum and a Dynasteam injection system from Imal, designed to increase the capacity of the production line.

Furthermore, Novopan will double its laminating capacity with the addition of a low pressure laminating line from Siempelkamp with a capacity of 400 panel/hour, set for the beginning of 2014.

These investments, as well as its business strategy, consolidates Novopan of Ecuador as a leader of the Andean region.
