COLOMBIA – With the commitment to do business from the anticipation of society’s future needs, based on permanent values, Duratex presented to the market in February its sustainability goals regarding the industrial units it maintains in Colombia.

In total, there are 34 clear and objective commitments to be achieved up to 2025 by all the operational and administrative areas of the company’s units abroad and that are 100% aligned with the Company’s Sustainability Strategy, launched in March 2017.

As well as the goals related to Duratex’s Brazilian units, the Colombian commitments were defined based on thematic workshops held with employees from the different corporate areas of the company. After the co-creation process, the goals were presented and approved by the Colombian Steering Committee and later to the Duratex Colombia Administrative Council.
