GERMANY (Notifix).- The Hettich Group with headquarters in Kirchlengern, Herford generated turnover of €857 million in 2012. Increase of 5.2% over the year before (2011: € 815 million). 

Hettich continues strong in external markets as business abroad accounted for 69% turnover (2011: 67%). In 2012, close to €100 million were invested in products, plant and buildings worldwide. Around the globe, the group employed more than 6000 members of staff (2011: 5900). Well over 3000 of these workplaces were in Germany.

Hettich as a private company has a tradition of not publishing specific operating figures. “We are not entirely satisfied with the result, having hoped for more. As a result of new product launches, we are expecting 2013 to bring moderate growth, albeit in a difficult business environment.” CEO Dr. Andreas Hettich stated. “A further focus this year will be the Interzum fair where we will be presenting new sliding door applications and functions”, he added.
