CHINA – According to China Customs and as reported by ITTO, in the first quarter of 2020 China’s plywood exports were 1.85 million cubic meters valued at USD 787.6 million, a drop of 85% and 82% respectively over the same period in 2019.
Brazil’s furniture exports drop more than 43% in April
BRAZIL – Brazilian exports of wooden furniture dropped 43.3 percent in April 2020. Affected by COVID-19, Brazilian furniture shipments abroad reached USD 24.4 million against USD 43.2 million in April 2019.
