New Garnica Factory in France Starts Operations
FRANCIA – The new factory is located in Troyes, the Sud Champagne region in northern France. Garnica, a global leader in the plywood industry, initiated the construction process in 2021. The first warehouse and first floor of offices have been completed, and operations began in May.
Finsa’s Sales Exceed EUR 1 billion in 2021

Brazilian furniture exports fall 5.3% in 5M-2022
BRAZIL – The value of Brazilian wood furniture exports reached USD 274.97 million in the first five months of 2022 (5M-2022). This represented a 5.3 percent drop compared to the same period of 2021 (5M-2021: USD 290.27 million).

Brazilian consumption of wood panels drops 11% in the first half of 2020
BRAZIL – According to IBÁ (Brazilian Tree Industry) reports, in the first semester of 2020 (6M-2020) the consumption of wooden panels (Particleboard, MDF and Hardboard) in Brazil reached 2.84 million m3, a fall of 11.0 percent compared to the 3.19 million m3 reached in 6M-2019.
