By manipulating scale, texture, contrast, inversion and color, the Andre Kikoski by Wilsonart collection creates dramatic new interpretations of timeless architectural finishes through the innovative Virtual Design Library, challenging understanding of what laminate can look like and what it can offer in 35 new distinctive designs.

“Collaborating with Andre to develop this collection has not only been exciting for us but also a privilege for Wilsonart,” said Gwen Petter, director, product design at Wilsonart. “The Andre Kikoski by Wilsonart collection is a highly seductive expression of design, delivering contemporary patterns in new and surprising ways that encourage alternative uses in unexpected applications. The creative and technical skills of the teams resulted in beautiful patterns for Wilsonart® High Pressure Laminate, extending the palette of creative Virtual Design Library options available to the design community.”

Andre Kikoski by Wilsonart includes a wide range of patterns, including canvasses of polar and birch bark that bring the outside in, while other designs replicate recycled glass, acid-etched metal and hammered metals all creating unexpected texture and depth in the laminates. By masterfully manipulating scale, texture, contrast and color in the collection, the designs transcend expectations and provide dramatic new opportunities for designers to be playful, surprising, and most of all, original.

The inspirations behind the new Kikoski patterns are:

  • Nature – brought indoors with organic realizations of birch and poplar tree bark.
  • Luxurious Materials – modern interpretations that are elegant and sophisticated.
  • Urban Surfaces – translating familiar materials into unexpected beauty, texture and depth.
  • Geometric Art- unique and lively patterns interpreted in bas-relief trapezoids, etched cement, and linear chiseled stone.

“The collection features some of my most favorite architectural finishes, including chiseled stone, luxurious linens, crystals, rippled glass, hand-troweled plaster and distinctive geometric patterns,” said Andre Kikoski. “Working with Wilsonart to bring these ideas and visions forward to further fuel the design inspirations of others is an honor.”
