Holz-Her Two-stage Expansion Plan

AUSTRIA – Holz-Her, a subsidiary of the Weinig Group, informed regarding its two-stage EUR 15 million investment program.

1001HOLZHERThe first stage of the expansion, a new assembly hall with 1700 square meters, will start operating at the beginning of December this year.

The second stage of the expansion, a new warehouse with a high degree of automation, will begin to operate in spring 2023. During this phase, the showroom will be expanded into an ExpoCenter and the entire office infrastructure will be modernized.

Harald Steiner, Managing Director of Holz-Her commented “Holz-Her’s excellent development has meant that production in Voitsberg has been constantly reaching capacity limits since 2019. With the expansion, we not only increase the production capacities, but also create space to expand the product portfolio. We invested here out of the conviction that the location has a great future.”

In the second expansion stage, the entire logistics concept will be rethought. After all, an effective, timely supply of parts and materials is more important today than ever. The new automated warehouse saves a lot of space and creates an additional 3000 square meters for assembly on the previous storage areas. The planned expansion of the showroom should make a visit to Holz-Her in Voitsberg even more attractive, especially for local customers and interested parties from all over the world.
