SPAIN - Homag Machinery Barcelona, the first factory of the Homag Group outside Germany, absorbs the sales and service company Homag España Maquinaria, thus giving rise to Homag España S.A.U.

The merger of the two companies is part of the strategy to operate with a more agile and integrated structure in Spain. The legal process began in December 2021 and was completed in July 2022.

Homag España S.A.U., produces and develops the HOMAG Group's series one and two panel saws in L'Ametlla del Vallès, Barcelona, advanced German technology machines marketed globally and locally.  In addition to the factory of more than 6,000 m², it has a sales and service team in its plant in Llinars del Vallès of more than 1000 m², which sells, installs and offers all products of the Homag Group for the Spanish market.

With the new organizational structure, Homag offers its customers a larger stock of spare parts and excellent customer service, as well as intensifying its image as a comprehensive supplier of machines and complete solutions for the Spanish market, which is increasingly focused on digitalization, automation and sustainable production.
