GERMANY - The Siempelkamp Group recorded an extraordinarily good business year 2021 with a record order intake of EUR 855.0 million, the company clearly exceeded its previous year's order intake of EUR 552.7 million.

"Our realignment in the area of sales, process organization, and global manufacturing excellence, which was initiated in 2020, has proven its worth in all areas and has born fruit in 2021," said Dr. Martin Stark, CEO of the Siempelkamp Group.

Siempelkamp positioned itself successfully in particular in its core market, the wood-based materials industry. Both long-standing existing customers and new customers worldwide decided in favor of Siempelkamp's overall plant competence and technological know-how.

Within the wood-based panels industry Siempelkamp continues to push forward the realignment of board production. Climate change and the scarcity of resources require solutions for the use of alternative raw materials. Depending on their local raw material supplies and their market situation, wood-based panel producers can resort to new, resource-saving processes.
