BRAZIL - After six and a half years Mr. Holzwirt Martin Kemmsies stepped down on 19 November from his role as managing director at Siempelkamp do Brasil, located in Curitiba.

Siempelkamp do Brasil´s deals with after-sales for an installed base which includes 33 continuous ContiRoll and Küsters press lines for MDF and MDP production in Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

During Mr Kemmsies´s  management the following ContiRoll press lines were completed or are under construction: Berneck Curitibanos MDP, Guararapes MDF 1, Greenplac MDF, Berneck Lages MDF, Guararapes MDF 2, as well as the latest Dexco´s  Agudos 4th short cycle press.

Customer satisfaction at a peak, rapid turnaround, record first panel periods, doubling of our subsidiary´s intake in a matter of years, and a strengthened position of our regional market through increased technical field service presence. All successes which without our 14 colleagues in Curitiba and many collegaues in Krefeld would neither have made the journey as pleasurable, nor the business opportunities as profitable. The interim administrator is Ms Josiele del Secchi.
