ITALY - Biesse Group has decided to start a new managerial cycle with a new vision. In mutual agreement, Stefano Porcellini leaves the position of General Manager with effect from 1 September 2020, maintaining the position of member of the Board of Directors, until the natural expiration.
“Stefano has contributed to the national and international growth of Biesse Group, making it the leading Italian group (and second in the world) in our industries. It is a result of which we are all proud, and for this, the management, my family and me personally are grateful”, said Group CEO, Roberto Selci.
Starting from 2 September 2020, Massimo Potenza, a highly experienced manager and previously CEO & Member of the Board of Barilla Group, having completed the necessary internal procedures and the related corporate formalities, will join the Biesse Group as Co-Chief Executive Officer. Potenza will collaborate with the Company for the definition and implementation of the “Group Reorganization & Transformation” project.
Biesse has additionally declared that Mr. Porcellini, in the face of the consensual termination of the employment relationship, will be recognized in addition to the ordinary amounts related to the termination of the relationship, about 15 months of the gross annual salary. Porcellini has also signed a non-competition agreement with Biesse S.p.A. until 30 April 2022.
