GERMANY - Tapio (Nagold) was chosen as one of the 100 most innovative startups in Germany by the publication “The Hundert Startups of Germany 2018”.
Tapio is a digital ecosystem for the wood industry of which 28 companies in the sector are already part of.
“The Hundert”, in its eleventh edition, is published by the Berlin publishing house NKF Media. A 42 members expert panel that included investors, entrepreneurs and personalities made the selection. The hard cover publication offers a general description of the various ecosystems of the selected startups and presents their founders and entrepreneurs behind them.
Prepared with interviews, analysis and reports, "The Hundert" describes the exciting and rapid changes in the environment of these new companies. For the current number 650 new companies submitted their applications, of which 100 were included, among them Tapio.
According to Tapio, the award shows that digitalization can also be driven by an industry in itself. Tapio creates an ecosystem for the wood industry to help it move towards the digital future.
Tapio's 28 business partners share the belief that customer-centric collaboration and a common technology platform are fundamental to the digital future. This results in intelligent and sophisticated applications for customers of any size. Tapio itself is a neutral participant and plays a support role.
