COLOMBIA - Tekandina, distributor in Colombia for German Homag Group, the world leader in board processing machinery, and for Leuco, one of the world's largest suppliers of carbide and diamond-tipped tools for wood and plastic processing machines, has moved to its own new headquarters.
Located in the outskirts of Bogota (Metropolitan Business Center, Km 3, Siberia highway, municipality of Cota, Cundinamarca), the new headquarters have a total area of 600m2, 450m2 of which correspond to the storage area and 150m2 to the administrative and after sales service areas.
In addition to the support staff, Tekandina has a technical team of 7 engineers, from the electrical, electronics, mechanics and systems disciplines, who receive ongoing update training at the headquarters of its represented companies in Germany, Spain and Brazil.
In the eight years since its founding, Tekandina has undertaken the installation of important industrial modernization projects for clients in Colombia, such as Moduart, RTA Design, Masisa, Muebles Bremen, Maximuebles, among others. Tekandina has also completed industrial upgrading projects for clients in Ecuador, Peru and Central America.
Tekandina will take part of the next M & M industry fair of Bogota, to be held from 9 to 12 March in the pavilions of Corferias.
