U.S. - The HOLZ-HER Evolution 7405 vertical CNC processing center has won the "Visionary Award" at the AWFS trade fair in Las Vegas in the category for particularly high-quality machinery. The jury highlighted the vacuum-based clamping system for which a patent is pending. 

The system has software-controlled, fully-automated suction positioning with through-hole drill detection. Unique in its class, the Evolution allows precise edge-routing of all four workpiece edges without circular clamping. The compact CNC processing center requires little space yet offers the customer outstanding productivity. The Evolution previously won the Challengers Award at the IWF in Atlanta in August 2014.
