ITALY (Notifix).- Biesse sales for 2011 reached EUR 388.5 million compared to EUR 327.5 million in 2010. EBITDA improved by 42.8% totaling EUR 22.4 million allowing an important reduction in losses to EUR 2.4 million from EUR 5.7 million in 2010. The geographical breakdown of Group net revenues is as follows: Western Europe 44.0% (49.6% in 2010) of which Italy 14.1% (18.5% in 2010), Eastern Europe 17.5% (15.6% in 2010, North America 9.5% (9.3% in 2010), Asia Pacific 18.9% (16.7% in 2010) and Rest of the World 10.1% (8.7% in 2010). The Italian company, which operates in the market for wood glass and stone processing machinery and systems, was founded in Pesaro in 1969. The Biesse Group distributes its products through a network of subsidiaries and associates located in strategic markets.
