SWEDEN – Sunds Fibertech, a leading provider of machinery and services to the panelboard industry, is significantly expanding its environmental systems business through two strategic acquisitions.
On May 21, Sunds Fibertech signed an agreement to acquire Advanced Cyclone Systems (ACS), a Portuguese company specializing in high-efficiency cyclone systems for emission and particle separation. The acquisition will become effective on May 27. Founded in 2008 by Romualdo Salcedo and Pedro Araújo, ACS operates from Portugal and has a subsidiary in Brazil. The company holds several patents and is recognized globally for its cyclone technology.
Additionally, Sunds Fibertech has acquired LÜBKE GmbH, a family-owned company with a strong reputation in filter and environmental technologies. Based in Central Europe, LÜBKE brings market-leading filtration solutions that align with Sunds Fibertech’s mission to “Boost your plant.”
“These acquisitions allow us to broaden our offering and deliver even more advanced solutions for air quality and emissions reduction across global markets,” said Lars Eklund, CEO of Sunds Fibertech.
With these moves, Sunds Fibertech strengthens its footprint in Europe and South America, reinforcing its environmental focus and aiming to meet rising global demand for sustainable production solutions.
