THAILAND – Siempelkamp has strengthened its footprint in Southeast Asia with the opening of a new office in Bangkok in early 2024, its third location in the region after Singapore (1989) and Kuala Lumpur (2007). T
he expansion aims to enhance customer support, service quality, and response times in one of the world’s most dynamic wood-based panel markets.
The Bangkok office is designed to reinforce after-sales and technical services, providing faster field support and improved spare-parts logistics. Thailand is a key market for the group, with more than 22 ContiRoll® presses currently in operation—evidence of decades-long partnerships with local manufacturers.
Beginning January 2026, the Bangkok branch will be led by industry veteran Daniel Bacic, who has served as Branch Manager in Kuala Lumpur for the past eight years and worked in Siempelkamp’s installation and service operations across the region. His mandate includes strengthening customer relations, expanding after-sales services, and managing modernization projects.
Simultaneously, Bee Koon Lee assumed the role of Branch Manager in Kuala Lumpur on November 1. A chartered accountant with extensive management experience in international companies, she also brings several years of expertise from the Asian woodworking sector.
“Opening the Thailand office reinforces our commitment to delivering service excellence directly in key markets,” said Henning Gloede, Managing Director of Siempelkamp Pte. Ltd.
