GERMANY – Under the guiding principle “Intelligence in integrated wood processing”, the Siempelkamp Group is inviting trade visitors at Ligna in Hannover to experience a journey through the digital and forward thinking manufacturing plant for wood-based products.
Siempelkamp, a global systems supplier of integrated plants for wood-based materials ranging from the wood yard to the finished boards, presents at Ligna its comprehensive products and services related to its reference products: ContiRoll® Generation 9 and Generation 9 NEO, which aim to make plants for wood-based materials more efficient on all levels and for the customers simpler and more flexible.
Trade visitors are invited to go on an informational journey through the world of tomorrow’s plants at the Siempelkamp booth. Virtual reality concepts in the course of 3D project planning and the services of “Service 4.0” are represented here as well as solutions from the area of size-reduction technology, dryer and energy plants, process technology, logistics, and finishing lines.
The highlight of the booth located in Hall 26, booth E27 / E 28, is a digital “Experience Room” which offers exciting, interactive impressions. There visitors can navigate through different topic clusters which present Siempelkamp’s integral concept, for example, “Customer need-based solutions”. “Our presence at this year’s Ligna sets milestones in all areas. We want visitors to immerse themselves in our Siempelkamp world and get captivated, in an interactive way by our many digital concepts and products. We look forward to convincing plant operators of our level of performance and to motivate them to a dialogue about their own visions and objectives,” says Christoph Michel, CEO of the Siempelkamp Group.
