ITALY – The latest innovations of SCM’s edgebanders will be the stars of the “On the Leading EDGEBanding” event, from November 7 to 9, 2019 at the Edgebanding Tech Lab in Thiene (Vicenza).

With the new systems of “Batch 1” flexible edging, SCM responds to the demands of efficiency, integration and customization of the current market. These systems guarantee a growing productivity, thanks to the integration in cells and facilities equipped with roller tables, return devices of the board and automatic loading and unloading systems, managed by robots and equipped with IoT sensors for control increasing operation of the machine.

At the same time, they allow a unique precision and quality of work on any type of board, even for delicate boards and complex materials, thanks to the new “Round 2 Servo Rounding” and “RT-X Rectifier” state-of-the-art optimized operator groups and devices that provide a perfect adhesive thread.

The Smart Days “On the Leading EDGEBanding” event is a great opportunity to inaugurate the expansion of this production center, which has increased more than 35%, to almost 30,000 square meters. All this translates into more space for the production lines, a modern and clean geometry to optimize the storage phases and a Tech Lab that stands out for being the largest in Italy for this technology.

All this means being able to give a better and faster response to customers who, with the help of dedicated technicians, can test the best edging solutions directly on the ground and perform specific tests on their own boards, edges, adhesives, etc.
