SLOVENIA- SCM is enhancing its global presence with a new subsidiary, set to open in Trzin near Ljubljana, Slovenia, in January 2024.

1067SCM Focused on the Slovenian and Serbian markets, the subsidiary aims to preserve local characteristics and identities while providing efficient support to dealers in Croatia and Bosnia.

As SCM’s first venture in the Balkans, the subsidiary will feature a 1,500-square-meter Technology Center showcasing the latest SCM innovations tailored to the wood-furnishing industry’s needs in the region.

The facility will house specialized technicians and sales engineers, offering comprehensive support for various wood processing applications. Customers can benefit from precise after-sales support, efficient spare parts management, and access to SCM’s IoT platform, Maestro connect, for proactive and predictive assistance.

Lorenzo Trolese, SCM Country Manager for the Balkans, emphasizes the subsidiary’s commitment to delivering all-encompassing commercial and technical support for industry businesses, ensuring optimized production processes from pre to post-sales.
