SCM Group with special mention at German Design Awards

GERMANY – Important recognition for the new Human Machine Interface (HMI) developed by SCM, as it awaits its official debut at Ligna 2019.

821SCM2 The “Maestro Active” operator interface received a special mention at the German Design Award, one of the most prestigious designer competitions in the world, which previews some of the latest industry trends in terms of research and innovation.

The visual and interaction design project developed by SCM aims to meet all the using experience demands made by companies working with wood, especially the need to use the machine with ever increasing simplicity and efficiency, in line with the slogan “Work simple work digital” that characterizes SCM’s proposal.

The acknowledgment was received on behalf of the group by Federico Ratti, Innovation Director, along with Daniele De Cia, CEO at Niew Design, a company which worked alongside SCM in the new interface project.
