GERMANY – With over 3,000 square meters of exhibition area in four stands, in as many halls, the Italian SCM Group will present at Ligna 2015 the widest range of machines dedicated to the transformation of wood.

The main stand, covering over 1,800 square meters, in Hall 25, will showcase innovations for all types of machining processes for the industry and panel sectors. Morbidelli processing centers will showcase their impeccable edgebanding quality and high productivity, also for small-medium batches (over 20 pieces per minute, with set-up times of less than 45 seconds). The novelties for Stefani will focus on superb finish quality for industrial edgebanding, thanks to a full update of the majority of the range: new models, a new technology (for the first time, hot air edgebanding will be presented as one of the Group’s solutions), a new generation of machining units to achieve optimal results – both from an aesthetic and a performance viewpoint – with all types of materials, sizes and process phases. For Gabbiani and Mahros, the focus will be on fully integrated solutions that combine cutting, Morbidelli nesting machining operations and an intelligent magazine to enable excellent performance, with automation playing a key role in ensuring flexibility and high output for the management of very different orders. Concerning the design furniture finishing, DMC will launch innovative machining units that create trendy finishes, such as gouged, sawn and structured finishes.
