ITALY – The SCM sales team met at the Rimini headquarters for a special event: the launch of the new Morbidelli X50 and X100 nesting CNC machining centres, along with upgrades to the Accord 500/600 range for the furniture industry.
On September 11 and 12, both Italian and international sales teams had the chance to see these advanced models in action at SCM’s Technology Centre, exploring their cutting-edge features. These new nesting solutions have already generated great enthusiasm after their North American debut at the Tuluth SCM Subsidiary and the IWF show in Atlanta, with SCM reporting strong customer interest and ongoing orders and negotiations.
Bruno Di Napoli, Business Unit Manager for SCM’s CNC machining centres and drilling solutions, noted that the Morbidelli X50/X100 project builds on the success of the Morbidelli X200/X400 models launched five years ago. “The ‘neXting generation’ is now further enhanced with this ‘double eXpansion,’ offering customers a broader selection of machines tailored to their needs, regardless of their investment capacity.”
Over the following two days, customers had the opportunity to attend live presentations and demonstrations of the new Morbidelli X series and the updated Accord range. SCM’s production facilities in Italy, designed around lean management and operational excellence, was open for guided tours, giving visitors insight into SCM’s advanced manufacturing processes. Additionally, SCM’s Technology Centres worldwide remain open for demonstrations, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations.
With its global network of offices, SCM continues to provide the most extensive distribution network in the industry, ensuring that its sales and technical teams are always available to support customer needs.
