ITALY – Pietro Gheller, previously Product & Markets Director, is now the Director of SCM Wood Division, taking over from Luigi De Vito, who continues as General Manager.

Born in Vicenza, Gheller attended the International Business Program at Stockholm School of Economics in 1997 and graduated from Bocconi University in 1999. His career has included roles in strategic consulting and management across sales, marketing, and supply chain in various global industries.

In 2019, Gheller joined SCM Group as Sales & Markets Director for the Wood Division, driving strategic expansions into markets such as Turkey, India, and Southeast Asia, and forging partnerships, including with Sweden’s Randek AB. Promoted in 2022, he managed the group’s extensive product technologies.

As of April 11, 2024, Gheller leads the Wood Division, overseeing SCM’s Industrial and Customer Care departments, as well as technology and commercial development.
