CROATIA – IMA Schelling Group, a leading machine and plant manufacturer for wood, plastic, and metal processing industries, has expanded its presence in Southeast Europe with the opening of a new branch in Zagreb, Croatia, on January 1, 2025.

This move supports the company’s Strategy 2030, which emphasizes international growth and the decentralization of service and expertise.

The newly established IMA Schelling Adriatic d.o.o. will provide localized services, including machine sales, modernization, independent assembly and commissioning of standard machines, project support, and quick access to spare parts and service. The branch will be managed by Sales Manager Nediljko Jurišić and Service Manager Damir Hadžić, with plans to offer all first-level customer support locally and develop a cross-border service center.

“We aim to be physically closer to our customers, provide direct support, and stay attuned to market developments in real time,” said Jurišić. “This allows us to respond more quickly and address local needs more effectively.”

The new Croatian branch is a key component of IMA Schelling’s Strategy 2030, which aims to strengthen its international presence and optimize processes. “This new establishment in Croatia marks a significant step in implementing our Strategy 2030,” said Maximilian Lehner, Managing Director of IMA Schelling Group. “By bringing service and sales closer to customers, we are reinforcing our global position.”
