GERMANY – At Ligna 2015, machine operators were able to experience a new noise level.

The new diamond-tipped panel sizing saw blades by LEUCO prevent whistling by means of a new design of the gullets. When idling, the noise level was reduced by up to 6 db(A), which gives the feeling of a noise reduction by halves. The name of the saw blade program “NoNoise” is not to be mixed up with no noise at all. It stands for no nerving noises when working and thus for a new and as yet unknown noise level on horizontal panel sizing saws which will certainly be appreciated by the machine operators.

Noise reduction has been one of the important topics LEUCO received positive feedback for during the past few years. The new “NoNoise” Scoring Saw Blades for panel sizing saws are the most recent development.

LEUCO, founded in 1954 in Horb am Neckar, Germany, is one of the world´s largest suppliers of carbide and diamond-tipped machine tools for wood and plastic processing with approx. 1,100 employees on all 5 continents.
