GERMANY – Interprint one of the largest global décor printers for the furniture and flooring industries, increased turnover by 2% to EUR 295 million in 2015.
Similar to the previous year, more than 940 Mio sqm of printed, impregnated or lacquered specialty papers were sold to the furniture and flooring industry.
Particularly successful were the subsidiaries in the United States, Russia and China. Very encouraging was the development of Asia-Pacific Engravers in Malaysia, a joint venture with Janoschka Group.
Mid-2015, after a little more than one year of construction time, the new production plant in Brazil with two printing presses was commissioned. It will serve all South American markets as well as Mexico. In addition an impregnation line was put into operation in early 2016.
At the headquarter in Arnsberg the world’s first industrial digital printing system for décor paper was put into operation. With this complement to the classic rotogravure printing Interprint is now even more flexible to address customer requests regarding smaller batch sizes and individual decors.
