ITALY – Over 3,000 visitors were recorded as having attended the 2019 edition of Biesse’s Inside, one of the main points of reference in the second half of the year in terms of events for the sector dedicated to machining wood.
The 5,000 square meters of innovation at the Biesse Campus welcomed from October 3rd to 5th visitors from Italy and from Continental Europe, especially from Russia, France and the Iberian Peninsula. Compared to the previous edition, the number of visitors from Italy has increased, while the influx from abroad is a continued demonstration of interest in the technology Biesse offers.
“Inside Biesse, an event planned down to the smallest detail, is a very important moment for us, and the great influx of visitors rewards our daily efforts and our continuous focus on the customer,” said Federico Broccoli, Wood Division/Sales Director and Subsidiaries Division Director. “This was a very successful edition, with the number of registered orders exceeding our expectations and a pool of visitors that stood out both in terms of quantity and quality”, Broccoli said.
Inside Biesse included over 40 technologies in action, targeted towards all manufacturing companies, from large companies with high production volumes to companies seeking flexibility and customization, to small business that can be transformed into real “smart factories.” Visitors were able to learn about a complete range of technological innovations: from ROVER work centers updated with the new FPS (Feedback Positioning System) worktops able to guarantee greater performance in terms of speed, productivity and safety, to the AKRON, STREAM and JADE range edgebanders; from SELCO panel sizing machines to the complete range of SKIPPER and BREMA drilling machines, concluding with the range of Opera sanding machines and WINNER and WINSTORE handling systems.
