Homag Group receives two German Design Awards 2019

GERMANY – The Homag Group and its agency Keenly received two prizes at the prestigious German Design Award 2019. Both the new brand image and a corresponding film were awarded.

819HOMAG The German Design Award annually honors innovative products and projects, their manufacturers and designers who are pioneers in the German and international design landscape. The German Design Council, the German authority for brands and design, awards the prize.

In the “Corporate Identity” category, the Homag Group convinced the jury with its new market presence. Under the claim “Design meets digital”, Homag developed a new, digital machine generation with intuitive design, uniform product names and a new logo. The jury’s verdict: “With its clear, minimalist design language, Homag’s new image has a decidedly modern look and communicates the company’s core values in a way that can be understood”.

Another award went to the cinematic implementation of this change in corporate design and product design in the “Audiovisual” category by the Keenly agency commissioned by the Homag Group. In the jury’s opinion, “a film produced in keeping with the times which reflects the theme of industry 4.0 in a comprehensible and credible manner. Intuitive, digital, unique”.
