Holz-Her Invests €10 Million in its New Nürtingen Headquarters

GERMANY – Holz-Her, a company of the Weinig Group, is investing 10 million euros in a new building complex in the town of Nürtingen, current headquarters of its administration and service center.

764HOLZHER The project is being developed on a 5,800 m² plot acquired by Holz-Her in the “Großer Forst” industrial park. In the future, the administration and services areas, which are currently distributed in two separate buildings, will share common buildings, together with a showroom and a technology center. The construction start is scheduled for spring 2018, and the project is expected to conclude in the summer of 2019.

The central element of the project will be the new showroom that will occupy more than 1,400 m². There, customers will be able to experience the complete range of Holz-Her machinery for wood processing. In addition, the showroom will host sales and service events and this area will also house the client training center. This wing also houses a new 1,100 m² technology and development center for prototypes, new developments and testing.

In the office wing, the sales, service, administration and development areas will be distributed in three floors. This building has an open design and offices and workplaces are planned according to the latest findings in interior design.

This project confirms the positive development of Weinig Group in recent years, “The capacities created are designed to accommodate a growth of 50 percent over the next five years,” emphasizes Weinig CEO Wolfgang Pöschl. The investment is being financed entirely from the company’s own resources.
