Business abroad represented 68 percent of turnover, after accounting for 66 percent the year before. In 2015, some € 62 million were invested in products, plant and buildings worldwide. Around the globe, the group generated 5900 jobs over the year, of which more than 3000 were in Germany.

In full family ownership, the company has a tradition of not publishing specific operating figures. “We have achieved the hike in turnover targeted for 2015 and are looking to the future with optimism”, said Dr. Andreas Hettich, Chairman of the Management Board. “In 2016 we will be making room for further future growth at the Kirchlengern operation by extending our production facilities for drawer runners”.

Hettich is extending its production space for drawer runners at its Kirchlengern headquarters. On April 6th construction began for this € 40 million investment. The new 30,000 square meter site will house an interlinked building concept made up of three structures and planned for completion by April 2017. It will include new production areas for drawer runners and a state of the art toolmaking operation.
