BRAZIL (Notifix).- German plant constructor Dieffenbacher has been commissioned by Brazilian company Floraplac MDF to supply a continuous press line, which includes the chipper line through to the sanding / laminating line. The press, which is 9 feet wide and over 40 meters long, is designed to provide a daily capacity of 1300 m³.
Florapac favored an EVOjet right from the outset as it wished to significantly reduce its glue consumption. A steaming unit upstream of the press guarantees a lower press factor, ensuring a high level of plant performance. A final short-cycle laminating line refines the panels to an optimum finish for subsequent distribution. By favoring the modern MDF production line from Dieffenbacher, Florapac is responding to the increasing demand for high-quality wooden panels in Brazil. The Brazilian company has been using a multi-opening plant from Dieffenbacher-SPWM at its Paragominas site in the state of Pará since October 2010. Its current capacity for MDF boards is 500 m³ a day.
