ITALY –  Acimall, the Italian association of woodworking and furniture machinery manufacturers, has appointed Federico Broccoli, Chief Commercial Officer at Biesse, as its new Vice President.

The board of the association approved the appointment following a proposal by President Enrico Aureli, after Raphaël Prati stepped down and was acknowledged for his valuable contribution.

Broccoli, who has worked in the industry for 40 years, emphasized his long-standing relationship with Acimall. “My sincere thanks to President Aureli and the entire board for their trust,” he said. “I have known Acimall since 1985 and have always appreciated its commitment, particularly in helping our companies expand globally. In today’s complex market and geopolitical environment, the association must remain a solid reference point for businesses of all sizes.”

President Aureli welcomed Broccoli’s addition to the leadership of Acimall and to the board of Cepra srl, the service company that manages all operational activities. “His extensive managerial background and deep understanding of global markets will be crucial for strengthening and developing the association ahead of its 60th anniversary in 2026,” Aureli stated.
